Miss Sudhasinee Smitra, Director, Investment Strategy and Policy Division Acting advisor (Plan and Policy Analyst, Advisory Level), Thailand Board of Investment (BOI)
Started serving the BOI as an Investment Promotion officer since 2001. She had held the important position including First Secretary (Economic and Investment) Office of Economic and Investment Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo (between 2011-2015), Director of Strategic Investment Projects Center (between 2016-2019), Director, Investment Strategy and Policy Division (between 2019 - present), and was appointed as Investment Advisor (Policy Analyst and Qualified Planner) in March 2024.
Miss Sudhasinee Smitra was a Thai Government Scholarship Student (between 1985-2001). She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Department of Industrial Chemistry, School of Engineering and Master’s Degree in Engineering, Department of Synthetic Chemistry and Biological Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, both from Kyoto University, Japan. She also obtained a master's degree in Business (Marketing) from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia, and a master's degree in Management (Marketing Management) from the College of Management, Mahidol University. She also earned The New Wave Leader Development Program, 5th Generation, organized by the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC). She was also awarded the Outstanding Civil Servant of the Year in 2004.
