Mr. Suthiket Thatpitakkul, Deputy Secretary General, Thailand Board of Investment (BOI)
Started serving the BOI as an Investment Promotion officer since 1995. Due to his educational background in chemical engineering, most of his time was assignments related to industries. During the year 2012-2015, he served as the Head of Chemical, Petrochemical, Plastic and Paper Industry Group under the Bureau of Investment Promotion 4.
From 2015-2017, he was appointed to be the Head of Investment Promotion Strategy and Policy in charge of the Investment Strategy and Policy Bureau.
In 2017, he was reassigned to be responsible for Biotechnology projects and since 2018 until now he is the Executive Director of the Investment Promotion Division 1, taking care of Agricultural, Bio and Medical Industries projects and recently also concurrently promoted to be the Acting Senior Executive Investment Advisor.
Mr. Suthiket Thatpitak-kul graduated with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Engineering from the Chulalongkorn University and a Master’s degree in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick, UK. He also earned the Advanced Certificate Course in Public Economic Management for Executives from the King Prajadhipok’s Institute and the Senior Executive Program from the Office of the Civil Commission and “Outstanding Civil Servant in 2007” from the Prime Minister.
