15 May 2024 - Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), delivered a special keynote address at the BOI Symposium 2024 EV Supply Chain Edition, held at SUBCON Thailand 2024, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), focused on the policy direction and ongoing developments in the electric vehicle (EV) industry and supply chain in Thailand. The "BOI Symposium: EV Supply Chain" was a three-day event that attracted over 1,500 domestic parts manufacturers interested in local procurement plans. For the first time in Thailand, seven leading Chinese automakers, namely GAC Aion, BYD, Changan, Great Wall Motor, SAIC (MG brand), NETA, and Chery (Omoda & Jaecoo brands) shared their visions and plans to integrate Thai entrepreneurs into their global supply chain.
