1 February 2023 - Ms. Sonklin Ploymee, Deputy Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) together with Mr. Suthiket Thatpitak-Kul, Executive Director, Investment Promotion Division 1, and Miss Nongyao Korkanruad, Director, BOI Phitsanulok, attended the cornerstone laying ceremony of NatureWorks’ Polylactic Acid (PLA) bioplastic plant at the Nakhon Sawan Biocomplex (NBC) in Nakhon Sawan Province, where they were welcomed by Mr Rich Altice, President and CEO, NatureWorks, Ms. Colleen May, President, Cargill Bioindustrial Group, and Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chairman of GGC. This bioplastic project was granted investment promotion benefits by the BOI as part of the BCG policy contributing to the development of Thailand’s “New Economy”.
