The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), in cooperation with JETRO Bangkok and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, held a seminar about the BOI’s new investment strategy. Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the BOI, and Mr. Kuroda Junichiro, President of JETRO Bangkok, delivered welcoming remarks. Ms. Sudhasinee Smitra, Executive Director of the BOI’s Investment Strategy and Policy Division, gave a presentation about the new investment strategy. The event held at the Grand Center Point Rajdamri, was attended by 40 on-site participants and 233 online participants. This new strategy, which will take effect from January 2023, aims to support Thailand’s development as the country enters a new economic era driven by technology, innovation, creativity and sustainability, and to strengthen Thailand’s role as an international business center and a regional R&D hub.
