On September 23rd 2021, Investment Ecosystem Division, by Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), organized an online seminar in topic Thai–Indonesian-Vietnamese Biz Networking for Thai SMEs in the Region: “The New Channel in the Covid-19 Era & Beyond the Next Normal”.

The seminar was held as a part of SUBCON Thailand Virtual Edition. There were 86 registered users and in the seminar time there were 82 users present online.

Opening Remarks by Mr. Chanin Khaochan, Deputy Secretary General, and Head of ASEAN Desk, Thailand Board of Investment (BOI).

First section feature topics to support SMEs, both measures and financial schemes, by representatives from government agencies namely Mr.Wittawat Lamsam, Director, International Cooperation Department, The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) and Mr. Anuchit Vitayaburananont, First Vice President, External Relations and International Office Department, Export-Import Bank of Thailand.

Second section was the Panel Discussion in topic Biz Networking for SMEs : “The New Channel in the Covid-19 Era & Beyond The Next Normal”. Contributors include Dr. Chaovalit Pakpianthakolphol, Chairman of the board of mSMEs Export and Investment Promotion, The Federation of Thai SME, along with four regional directors of BOI namely Miss Thayaporn Srisung, Director, Regional Investment and Economic Center 2 (Nakhon Ratchasima) Mr. Nantawoot Aksornkaew, Acting Director, Regional Investment and Economic Center 4 (Chonburi) Mr. Phonnathorn Vongprom, Director, Regional Investment and Economic Center 5 (Songkhla) Miss Nongyao Korkanruad, Director, Regional Investment and Economic Center 7 (Phitsanulok).

And last the webinar had guest speakers from overseas (both Indonesia and Vietnam), Miss Napat Thuppun, Director, Thailand Board of Investment, Jakarta Office Mr. Maspiyono, Chairman of the Thailand Relations Committee at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Mr. Audsitti Sroithong, Director, Thailand Board of Investment, Hanoi Office and Ms. Bui Thu Thuy, Deputy Director General, Enterprise Development Agency, Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI). All shared secret of success in their point of view.
