BOI Secretary General Visits Thai Microelectronics Center (TMEC)
3 October 2024 - Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the BOI, visited the Thai Microelectronics Center (TMEC) where he held a meeting with Dr. Wutthinan Jeamsaksiri. The visit included discussions on TMEC’s operations, a tour of the labs, and a briefing on advanced chip production processes, including IC design, semiconductor fabrication, wafer testing, and packaging. Dr. Wutthinan also explained the related technologies, as well as workforce development, and the future of Thailand's semiconductor industry.
