14 July 2024 - Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), along with Mr. Wirat Tatsaringkansakul, Deputy Secretary General, Ms. Tanita Sirisup, Director of Foreign Investment Promotion Division, and Mr. Kritawit Madhayamankura, Director of the BOI in Riyadh, participated in the 'Thai-Saudi Investment Forum' and the opening ceremony of the BOI office in Riyadh. The event, chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, and the Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Mr. Khalid A. Al-Falih, was attended by over 300 participants from more than 200 companies and agencies, which held over 100 business matching sessions and signed 11 MOUs regarding cooperation in various sectors. The BOI Office in Riyadh, is the agency’s 17^th overseas location and its first in the Middle East. The office will promote investment between Thailand and Saudi Arabia, as well as other Middle Eastern countries such as Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, and Turkey.
