Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), announced that applicatons for investment promoton in the frst half of 2023 increased 70% on year to a combined value of 364.4 billion baht (US$ 10.3 billion) as global companies contnue to favor Thailand as a manufacturing base for electronics, food processing and the electric vehicles (EV) supply chain.
