23 March 2021 - The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) office in Paris organized a webinar on the topic "Doing Business in Thailand: Your Supply Chain Location in Asia" to promote to investors from France and Italy Thailand's potential as an investment destination and its vital role as a component procurement hub in the ASEAN region. The more than 70 investors who attended the webinar heard speeches and presentations from H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Ambassador of Thailand to France, who gave the opening remarks, Mrs. Cherdchan Arunrat, Director of the BOI Paris Office, who spoke about the investment opportunities in Thailand and the measures taken to support supply chain development, Mr. Punlop Boonsiri, Director of the BOI’s Thai Entrepreneur Development Division, who discussed the unit's role in helping to link investors and parts manufacturers, Mrs. Sukanya Uerchuchai, Executive Director of the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Michele Tomea, Secretary General of Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce, who both spoke about the role of the chambers of commerce in supporting businesses and building networks with companies and local authorities, and Mr. Alberto Strada, Managing Director of Ducati Thailand, who shared his company’s experience doing business in Thailand.
