19 March 2021 - M.L. Chayotid Kridakon, advisor to the Deputy Prime, and Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Deputy Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), led BOI executives and Microsoft (Thailand)’s management team to a visit of the Eastern Economic Corridor Innovation (EECi) in Wang Chan Valley, Rayong Province. The group received a briefing from the project administrators, led by Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn, Chairman of the Council of the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), and visited various projects in the EECi. The EECi includes advanced research and innovation institutes in fields such as biotech, automation, robotics and smart electronics, as well as leading educational institutions in science and technology such as VISTEC and Kamnoetvidya Science Academy (KVIS).
