10 February 2023 - Ms. Sonklin Ploymee, Deputy Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) led a team of BOI officials on a visit to the plant operated by Siam NSK Steering Systems Co., Ltd. (SNSS) at the Wellgrow Industrial Estate, in Chachoengsao Province, where they were welcomed by SNSS President, Mr. Mitsunori Sato. The company has been operating in Thailand for more than 27 years as a manufacturer of steering shafts and automotive parts, and developed COLD FORMING technology for power steering shafts. SNSS clients include automotive companies both in Thailand and overseas. SNSS has adapted its business to the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) model by modifying equipment to increase production efficiency and by using various innovations to reduce the impact on the environment, including by installing solar panels of the plant’s rooftop.
