26 January 2023 - Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) together with Mr. Narucha Ruchuphan, BOI Senior Executive Investment Advisor, joined a roundtable discussion with executives of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) and leading companies from the US, to discuss issues related to trade and investment, Thailand’s competitiveness and mechanisms to help business reduce carbon emissions, among other topics.
The BOI Secretary General also participated in a Networking Luncheon and presented the BOI’s “New Investment Promotion Strategy for New Economy and New Opportunities” to more than 150 AMCHAM members at the Anantara Siam Hotel, Bangkok. In 2022, the US ranked as Thailand’s third largest source of foreign investment applications in terms of value with 33 projects worth a combined 50.3 billion baht, led by digital industry and electronics projects.
