Ms. Sonklin Ploymee, Deputy Secretary General of the BOI, led a visit to Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Thonburi Energy Storage Manufacturing Co., Ltd. facilities to observe the car and battery assembly lines

3 December 2021 – Ms Sonklin Ploymee, Deputy Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), led officials of the BOI Industrial Linkage Development Division on a visit to Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Thonburi Energy Storage Manufacturing Co., Ltd. facilities in Samutprakarn Province where they were welcomed by Mr Axel Bense, the CEO of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing (Thailand). They observed the car and battery assembly lines and discussed subcontracting opportunities for electric vehicle components in Thailand.
