Mr. Nanthapol Sudbanthad, Director of Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), New York Office, attended the AWS re:Inforce 2025 conference during 16-18 June 2025 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. He was invited as part of the Thai delegation alongside Major General Teerawut Wittayakorn, Deputy Secretary General, Office of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) and other representatives from ASEAN countries.

The event provided a platform to engage with global tech leaders, cybersecurity professionals, and AWS executives, while exploring the latest trends in cloud security and emerging technologies for the Generative AI era. During the conference, Director Nanthapol met with Ms. Amy Herzog, Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), AWS who delivered the event’s keynote address. She shared how AWS is empowering customers to simplify security at scale, using automated tools to quickly detect and resolve issues and also introduced the latest AWS security innovations e.g., AWS Security Hub, AWS Shield, and GuardDuty Extended Threat Detection.

Director Nanthapol also visited the AWS Village, an exhibition area where AWS experts demonstrated new services and solutions in cloud security. He experienced the AWS Data Center Virtual Reality (VR) tour, which highlighted the company’s cutting-edge innovations in energy efficiency, sustainable operations, and environmental responsibility. He also joined the workshop and connected with industry leaders and solution providers at the networking session. There were more than 5,000 participants to meet business supply chain and industry experts.
