16 May 2023 – Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) organized a seminar on the topic of "Thailand Investment Promotion Policy : New Economy, New Opportunities" in cooperation with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) and leading Thai companies including PTT Group and CP Group at the Lotte Hotel, in Seoul, Republic of Korea. H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand presented the opening remarks and Mr. Park Jae Hong, President of the Korea Electric Vehicle Industry Association gave the welcome address.
Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the BOI gave a presentation about the BOI’s new investment promotion strategy which aims to transform Thailand into a new economy, while Mr. Narucha Ruchuphan, BOI Senior Executive Investment Advisor, presented the detailed measures to promote investment and the facilitation measures proposed to investors under the strategy. The seminar, which was attended by more than 180 participants, including representatives of over 40 leading South Korean companies, was part of the BOI's roadshow to the Republic of Korea between 15-18 May 2023.
