Amazing Film Production in Thailand The overall Thai economy is growing strong, despite the political situation, and for foreign productions shooting in Thailand, which hit a high of 2,023.24 million THB in 2008, business is brisk. According to the Thailand Film Offce, under the Offce of Tourism Development, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, there were 116 foreign movies which were flmed in January and February this year, generating a total income of 213 million THB. Out of this number, 40 were documentaries, 60 advertising movies, 5 feature flms, 7 TV movies, and 4 music videos. A majority of the production was from Japan, a total of 33, followed by India, 22, and Europe, 20. Read more...
