7 February 2024 - Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Board of Investment (BOI), along with Miss Vorawan Norasucha, Executive Director of the Investment Promotion Division 2, welcomed a delegation from the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT), led by Dr. Yossapong Laoonual, Honorary Chairman, and representatives from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit – GIZ in Thailand, led by Dr. Dominika Kalinowska, Director of the Thai-German Cooperation Project on Energy, Transport, and Climate Change (TGC-EMC). The two sides discussed the cooperation project’s important contribution to EV development in Thailand, and explored opportunities for cooperation in relation to the BOI’s role as the secretariat of the National Electric Vehicle Policy Committee or EV Board.
